Default Which do you prefer Woh? or HB

well i was running joknurs tide in hm and it occured to me that woh seems pretty good but so does hb. well now i can't decide what kinda monk to chose. i generally run a hb monk but i dont know anymore. so im asking for your opnion WoH or HB? which do you run?
thanks

thank you everyone who discussed their opinions im running imbagon so there really is no need for additional prots, ithink, so WoH it is.

WoH for hybrids.

HB for strong, spammable party heals.

I wouldn't consider HB unless I know I have a Prot aswell which knows what he's doing.

But I would still choose WoH over it, because it allows me to go hybrid for more prots.

why not use WoH and then use arcane mimicry to steal HB off another monk?

^^

Both work perfectly fine. Personally, I run both, but prefer WoH purely because I like my elite to be something I'm using on recharge and not there to... support the rest of my bar. That's just me though.

Bah, GoLE is too short lived when you have things like Auspicious Incantation and Channeling.

idk any protters well enough to trust anyone with the other, more important half of monking when i play, so i almost always play hybrid. rarely is there even another monk in my teams anymore. i just usually take a utility/supporter of some sort.

I love HB, but WoH gets some nifty prots.

they are pretty much even.

I'd rather not have to stand next to monsters in hm for my energy management, and GoLE requires no attribute investment at all.

I pretty much always run WoH because it's a very strong skill on a hybrid bar. The only time I'd consider running HB is when there's an imbagon in the party reducing all damage to almost nothing.

Tyla summed it up best, and thats just the truth.

Keep in mind though this mainly in reference to an 8 man pve'ing team. If u start doing some 4 man pvp, GvG, or HA it can be a different story.

both have their uses and depend on party build.
HB is stronger in parties with some sort of passive defenses, SY spammer, Warder, etc
if you're the only person that can keep your party alive, with a 2nd monk or whatever than usually WoH hybrid will be a better choice.

It depends on the group.

Coordinate with the other monk when you can.

HB with Ursan.

WoH in HM

etc, etc
